Sydney Sweeney filmed a cameo for “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” but the scene was ultimately cut because it didn’t fit structurally within the sequence.
Sweeney shot a roughly three-minute scene near the top of the movie in which she played herself, being dressed for an event by Emily Blunt’s character, Emily Charlton — now running Dior’s U.S. operations.
Anna Wintour’s cameo was also cut. Director David Frankel captured her in what he called a “gag take” that would appear as a bonus feature on streaming, though Wintour got ahead of her cue, leaving the shot partially out of focus. “I can’t ask Anna to do take two,” Frankel said.

@Betsypaige24 @Nightbird7115 @betitup5 We know the film wrapped filming in 2024, but according to this producer, she said it wrapped in 2025. Perhaps they did a reshoot in 2025? This might be the reason for the film's delayed release.

Thinking back on the Universal/Focus panel, seeing Christopher Nolan & Steven Spielbierg talk shop was special.
It was Blumhouse’s Other Mommy that stood out the most though.
