What I’m looking for with Yu Darvish today is basically how he handles the lefties This year vs LHH .880 OPS 18.1 K% 9.7 BB% vs RHH .662 OPS 28.4 K% 2.8 BB% I think the drastic splits are a product of the lowered arm angle making his slider and sweeper less effective vs lefties. Could we see a situation where he is mostly a high arm angle pitcher vs lefties then a low slot guy vs righties? I think the slow curve will be a primary weapon for him vs lefties but what else can he rely on? High cutters? More elevated 4-seamers? Front door sinkers? Ideally he finds the splitter again. Of course none this matters if he can’t get ahead of hitters and limit homers.

@bobM721327 @Fast_Editzz @30yoboom3r That could have been a 17.hmr. Whoever took the shot was very close. At close range it doesn’t take a large caliber to rip apart an artery. It’s very soft tissue. .308 is certainly feasible, but my money is on a .22 LR. That shot was close range and quiet. Small caliber.
