You’re about 50-75lbs away from “mogging” me
As for the “incel” part, I have an entire wife & child more than you that kinda debunks that part…
gg

Dean Withers@itsdeaann

I do 7 figures annually without a single meeting or W2 employee.
Just me, 4 hours of work / day, and a some systems for contractors.
Today I filmed a 20 min loom going over:
-> Why this works for me
-> How to set something like this up
-> When to start delegating work
-> Where to find your contractors
-> And the benefits / limitations

@BowTiedBull As an Asian man...
I've gotta say Jews.
Most Asians have a major scarcity mindset with money. Tons of focus on saving not enough on making money.
Also many are stuck in outdated games as well (still lots of Asian parents basically forcing their kids to go to Med School).

@BowTiedBull What does your process look like for evaluating whether or not you can trust someone?

☕️ I just read a juicy interview about how AI is already shaking up the news business.
Writing headlines, long & short form stories, and even recommending articles behind the scenes.
But here's the catch: AI's quality is like a coin flip.
- Heads, you win big with killer content.
- Tails, you spam readers and ruin your rep.
It's just like AI in copywriting.
At first, it was hit or miss, but now some of us have cracked the code and consistently produce top-notch copy.
The news industry knows this, which is why AI skills are popping up in job listings for top editorial spots.
So, if you want to climb that newsroom ladder...
...or stay ahead in marketing, AI know-how is becoming a must!
My advice? Start experimenting with AI early.
Look for quick wins like automated transcriptions to save time...
...then think bigger about how AI can help with massive tasks.
Don't aim for the "hard tasks" right away, or you might get discouraged.
Instead, rack up small wins, and you'll feel more confident and find AI solutions to those "hard tasks" much easier. 🦾

🚨 Is AI really coming for Google's search throne?
Navigation queries like "YouTube" or "Amazon" are Google's bread & butter. AI search engines struggle here - taking too long to provide info when all we want is a link.
For real-time info queries like sports scores or weather, AI can't always be trusted. Google's widgets reign supreme.
However, AI shines for "buried info queries" - quickly extracting hard-to-find answers from the depths of SEO.
Explorational searches are where AI could revolutionize the game. In-depth answers & citations beat sifting through pages of links.
But Google's tailored results for queries like "what to watch" show the importance of UI. Chatbots alone aren't enough.
The race is on: Can Google adapt faster than AI startups can evolve into multi-faceted search tools?
What do you think - will AI dethrone Google, or will the search giant stay on top?

Bitcoin to $0? No sympathy from the "I told you so" crowd - "Your fault, your problem."
But if BTC moons? They'll say "It's not fair. I ignored it and didn't want to take a risk, but somehow it's your problem. Give me some."
What's your thought? #BTC

I would argue that the number 1 benefit of holding cash in banks is liquidity.
Why would I hold a large amount of cash in a bank which generates a .00000000001% return?
Mainly because I may need the funds on a quick turnaround.
Here’s an example:
Let’s say I’m buying a condo in Downtown Miami.
The Miami real estate market has been insanely competitive over the last few years since tons of New Yorkers have been escaping the City for good weather and a massive reduction in their tax bill.
A lot of people are throwing down all-cash offers on Miami condos at the moment.
(side note: I don’t know WHERE these people get their money from - it’s truly insane).
Let’s say I'm going to purchase a 2 BR/2BD Downtown for $700,000.
If I’m negotiating with a broker and there’s a bunch of competing offers, I need to be liquid.
When that deal is finalized, I’m going to need that $700,000 fast.
If all my money is locked up in real estate - I can’t just sell a property and get the funds overnight (this could take months).
Or if I have all my money is locked up in a stock portfolio, I can’t just liquidate it and get access to everything overnight. It would be quicker than real estate but it’s still gonna take some time.
Plus…
If we’re looking at it from a tax standpoint, you’re going to get hit with capital gains for liquidating either of these assets.
Therefore having cash on hand makes sense.
Although you lose money due to inflation (and the opportunity cost of not allocating it elsewhere)...
It gives you options that you can exercise at any time.
However, there’s two problems with this model:
1) Banks CAN block your transactions.
I don’t know if this is legal or not but they 100% do it (try to transfer a significant amount of money to Coinbase - GOOD LUCK).
Incentives are not aligned between the bank and the consumer.
Banks are incentivized to keep as much money.
It’s not in the best interest of the bank for you to take a large amount of money out of your account because now they can’t lend it out and generate a return.
Banks can wrap you up in a bunch of “fraudulent spending” claims and other things of that sort which eliminates the speed of the transaction.
2) Banks are not actually that fast by 2024 standards
It still takes several days for a wire transfer to go through (which is absolutely ridiculous btw - it’s not the 1950’s anymore).
Wire transfers don’t go through on weekends which also doesn’t make any sense.
So what’s the point of this whole post?
In the future, I believe crypto will solve these problems.
The issue is that crypto is not really used for many transactions these days (mainly trading and HODL’ing).
Not many people are buying homes with crypto right now (although I HAVE heard of this happening among ultra high networth individuals).
If you have 700K or 10 BTC in a cold wallet, you can send it to a buyer and it arrives in seconds.
There’s no bank who can stop you from sending the money.
There’s also no delay in the transaction.
If speed is the number 1 reason to hold cash…
…and crypto offers far superior speed than the current banking system.
Then it makes a TON of sense to hold crypto instead of holding cash in banks.
However, the banking system has a lot of power and will do whatever it takes to retain the power.
Gonna be a lot of drama going on with this over the coming years.
