I have noticed something 👇🏾 When some people see bad or toxic marriages, they get excited and are always happy to broadcast it everywhere. When they see people in good marriages, they begin to project. “Your spouse is not happy”, “Your spouse is useless” etc. I wonder why examples of good homes don’t make them excited like the toxic ones. Is it because they can’t believe people can have it good, just like their reality. What makes a marriage beautiful is when the people involved decide to put in the work. There are people enjoying their homes, even though it sounds foreign to some people. They don’t believe anyone can have it good. If you are fond of projecting your reality on others, look in the mirror and shake away the witchcraft spirit from you.

I have a friend who doesn’t tell anyone anything. You won’t know she’s about to move until she has already moved. You won’t know she’s getting a car until she already has one. Even the problems between her and her boyfriend are none of our business. I used to think she wasn’t being a good friend because she didn’t share her personal life. But now I understand why she doesn’t. It’s nothing personal, she just keeps her business private. And as I get older, I definitely see why.
