@kesavkolla Because we're responsible for the hardware and software, we don't support adding your own PCIe devices to the system. We build in the capabilities that our customers need natively and expose them via useful API abstractions.

@oxidecomputer what kind of extensibility we have with oxide? Any PCIe slots available on the sleds? If we want to add GPU or some other CXL device is it possible?

@kesavkolla Keeping an eye on developments and listening to customers for use cases, but not productized today.

@oxidecomputer what's your take on CXL memory? Can we add more pcie cards with relatively inexpensive memory?

@kesavkolla Yes, many of our customers are running k8s on Oxide, including Switch. Case study here- suse.com/success/switch/

@oxidecomputer do you also focus on container workloads with k8s? Not will work loads are VM type.
