@MurrayHillGuy1 Has she asked any of them out for a 2nd date?
English

I have a female friend who goes on multiple hinge dates every week. She’s a decent looking girl.
She hasn’t had a 2nd date in over 6 months.
Not ONE of her matches has asked her out after the first date.
She strongly believes that men are trash and that good men are hard/impossible to find.
Lesson in that…

@ICuRaRook @FSOceanClub Depends if the staff went above and beyond. Assuming they did would maybe round the total up to £320 and let them keep the change
English

@Artemisfornow I assume when the Tories were in power you were just as angry that the balance was in their favour in the House of Lords?
English

🚨 Something serious is quietly happening and will destroy democracy in the U.K.
The government is doing two things at once:
▪️Removing all remaining hereditary peers
A Bill in the Lords will remove around 88 hereditary peers. Most sit on Tory benches. Their removal shifts the balance sharply in Labour’s favour.
▪️Starmer is rapidly appointing Labour life peers. There is no legal limit on how many peers a Prime Minister can appoint. Since the election, Starmer has already created dozens of new peers enough to shift the voting maths dramatically.
The UK is heading towards a House of Lords where the government almost never loses a vote. Some projections suggest defeats could halve next year and disappear entirely by 2027.
The Lords isn’t there to block laws. It’s there to slow down bad ones, catch mistakes, force an authoritarian Government to rethink legislation, and protect against over-reach, concentrating power in number 10.
If a government can simply appoint enough of its own people to avoid challenge, then we are in trouble.
The principle was that no government should be able to stack the system to avoid democratic challenge. It’s about to end!
You would NEVER vote for this … which is why they haven’t asked you 🚨
English

@KemiBadenoch The Conservatives didn’t hold themselves to account when they were in charge for 14 years. You take no responsibility for the damage you have done to this country even if Labour haven't done much better, but you deserve a lot of blame yourselves and should acknowledge that
English

🚨Newsflash: we’re not in government anymore. It’s time to start holding the people in charge to account.
Instead of offering tissues at every Labour sob story, we need to point out the mistakes of the last budget so they’re not repeated.
Reeves promised not to come back for more taxes.
If she puts up tax, she should get the axe.
Beth Rigby@BethRigby
Badenoch wants to lay blame ALL ec woes on Reeves. It takes 5 mins of this i/v for Badenoch to acknowledge some of Tories’ responsibility. It matters cos 2/3 of voters still don’t trust Tories on economy & economy is at heart of their rebuild > 6 mins here youtu.be/0dKV-_0OFos

@MeghansMole Or maybe just maybe the kids don't want to watch baseball. I found watching sports matches insanely boring as a child and never would go into the living room to watch stuff like that with my parents. It certainly didn’t make them bad parents for not forcing me to engage with that
English

@unreMARKLEble You assume the kids want to watch a baseball game
English

All this was because the Dodgers won the World Series and we know what baseball fans #HarryandMeghan are 🙄-but how sad is this, really? They had a one person watch party in their “theater”-the game started at 5pm PDT, so the kids were definitely awake, and it ended around 9. Why wasn’t Archie watching with his dad? Why weren’t the kids hanging out? Isn’t baseball a family pastime? Instead they shove the kids off somewhere else with the nanny so they can have one solo friend over to make IG content? It’s so weird. I guess taking them to the pumpkin patch and trick or treating was their monthly parental duties. #MeghanMarkle #HarryMarkle #MeghanIsTheProblem #HarryAndMeghanAreBadParents

@Cat5SMASHICANE The amount of people I've watched attempt that jump over the river in Bournemouth and fail would easily make It's own video

@therealmissjo You're upset that people went and bought the discounted item? I don't see the issue

@Y0BESH Probably all of them eventually. Not like the first thing they resort to is beating each other to death

@MigeruSan_ First time playing Street Fighter 2 was a lonely cabinet in otherwise empty hallway in a Greek hotel. I was recovering from an accident so I couldn't use the pool. A staff member put it on free mode for me and I played it for most of three days and inviting other kids over 2 join
