A 58F with a history of hypothyroidism and anxiety presented with a 9 hour history of chest pain and painful swallowing shortly after taking her bedtime medications (aspirin, buproprion, fish oil and a probiotic). Urgent endoscopy found linear inflammation of the upper oesophagus and a 2.5cm x 2cm foreign body lodged in the distal oesophagus (A). The object was identified as a probiotic tablet retained within its rigid plastic and foil blister packaging. The package was advanced into the stomach, manipulated with a snare to reduce its maximum diameter, and successfully extracted via an overtube using a grasping device (Raptor forceps). The patient was discharged on a 7-day course of sucralfate and was counselled on removing pills from packaging in the future. 📸: cghjournal.org/article/S1542-…

I get to the house, by time I'm done showering, the Sun was out! The weather can be quite puzzling! Today, my breathing while on the walk felt good, didn't have to use a mask as I usually do. Thanks to the rains, my nostrils were so clear & not irritated by chilly a.m air

Thought I'd sleep in after taking the bed at 2a.m.Wapi? Was up barely 3hrs of sleep & cldn't fall back asleep. Decided it'd b another intense a.m walk Got rained on at 4Km mark kept going, another down pour on the 13KM point on return. Got back drenched in sweat and rain water!

On my way back, I detoured to some farms I usually see from a distance from the roof top. Saw a vegetables farm at some corner and spinach were being harvested. Approached them and asked they sell to me some. Got some 2 bunches of ultra fresh Spinach! 💚

How hungry was I to remember there was a small loaf in the freezer that I was saving to make garlic bread? That can wait, in the wake of tonight's hunger and there being no other quick fix. Defrosted it fast! Enjoyed it with load of Almond Butter and downed it with Tea.
