This law requires telling the world when a device is verified to be used by a child. It could be abused to show creepy things only to users verified to be children. This isn't a law that's protecting children. It's exposing children's personal info and putting them at risk.

Lmfao. That’s a pretty weak take. Being against mass ID checks doesn’t mean someone is defending criminals. It just means they care about basic rights like privacy and not being treated like a suspect by default. I wouldn't want my kid sending their face and ID to some third-party company just to go online. Keeping their data out of those systems is part of protecting them. If protecting kids is really the goal, go after actual offenders. Don’t make millions of normal people hand over sensitive data just to use the internet.
