You don’t know the seriously of people who have no link to Yoruba adding Yoruba name to their Ibo name. More than a hundred Ibos are in Ethiopian Prison and many other prisons in the world for one crime to another. We are able to identify them as Ibos because they have a distinctive name to the Yoruba. By adding Yoruba names to their name, we would have identity crisis, people would see the names and assume they are all Yorubas. You should be proud of maintaining your name and your identity. Only a low self esteem person would add a name they have no link with. Yoruba did not colonize you, we did not even have any contact with each other till the contraption, so why are you adding Yoruba names to your name?
