Who else saw Kathy Hochul's gracious invitation to former New Yorkers?
This is what it looks like when big government runs out of other people's money, and I wrote a new column about it this week. Go check out @ForGoodGov to read it!
Democrat Sen. Fetterman calls out California Governor Newsom for his attacks on Independent Journalist Nick Shirley for uncovering fraud:
“Shouldn’t we agree — eliminate all the waste?… Why can’t you celebrate any journalist or activist doing that?”
At what point will Congress stop treating the national debt as a political talking point?
@FmrRepKenBuck thinks it may take a genuine crisis to awaken the country to the threat we face.
"Nobody that's gone down to Florida is coming back. People that went to Florida, went to Texas. They're not coming back.
"We just want you back so you can fund our far left policies in the state. Won't happen."
"I'm eligible for estate tax. My kids will hate me if I don't move to Florida. They're not only punishing the billionaires and the millionaires, they want to reduce the estate tax from $7 million down to $750,000."
"Everybody's house in New York is worth $750,000. So they want to punish everybody. It just doesn't work. They don't realize it. I should come back so I could feed the migrants?"
The Merabi Professional Medical Plaza, a single three-story building in Los Angeles, is home to 89 licensed hospice companies and 72 of them raise red flags for possible fraud, a CBS News investigation found.
CBS News’ @adamyamaguchi visited the building and asked the owner what he would do if any of his tenants were accused of fraud. And we were not the first to visit with questions. #losangeles#investigation

Congress won't get serious about tackling the national debt until the incentives are changed.
@FmrRepKenBuck's idea: term limits kick in unless the debt is reduced.
🚨 NEW: Nick Shirley SLAMS Gavin Newsom: “The Governor of California is an enemy to the people of California. He’s literally working to support the fraudsters: he could be working to expose the fraud.”
“How stupid do you have to be to say ‘let’s go after the guy exposing the fraud, let’s not go after the fraudsters’. That is what he’s doing. Why don’t you say ‘Hey Nick, great video - how can we help?’
“These tax dollars don’t say right or left on them, Republican or Democrat. Each tax dollar is a dollar for the American people. And when they go and steal these dollars from us, they are not robbing liberals or Democrats, they are robbing everyone. Then the Governor gets mad at the person exposing the fraud? How crazy do you have to be to think that logic?” adds @nickshirleyy
YouTuber Nick Shirley’s new investigation alleges $170 million in California daycare fraud, echoing Dr. Oz’s claims of a $3.5 billion hospice scheme in Los Angeles. foxla.com/news/nick-shir…
@NYPostOpinion Government is inefficient, especially in California: the land of bloated bureaucracy, over-regulation, never-ending environmental reviews, and strict labor laws.
If done privately, this project would've been completed on time and under budget.
"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them."
In his new column, @FmrRepKenBuck explains why this Jefferson quote from 200+ years ago is more relevant than ever.
The debt passed $39 trillion today.
Paying a trillion dollars of interest annually on this debt causes hardship for tax-payers and robs us of resources that could otherwise be used for infrastructure or national defense. And ultimately, this debt will enslave our grandchildren.
