This isn't what Champions is supposed to be. Champions is just a hub for battling content. This illusion that Champions was made so that everyone can VGC for free is just made up.

This might be bait, but in case it isn't: Having to play other titles to get access to specific Pokémon is antithetical to what Champions is supposed to be: the self contained competitive platform accessible to everyone. Especially the wave of new players coming from mobile.

@DNCHI77 Gen 9 (and hisui) powercreep hurt the gen as a whole. Flutter mane, ursaluna, Miraidon, calyrex still existing, and urshifu still existing on top of Tera to make them even stronger. The new items being really strong also didn’t help like clear amulet and covert cloak
