Fun fact about this spacewalk, Mattingly had lost his wedding ring at some point during the mission inside the Command Module (likely when going to the bathroom), when he went on the spacewalk, they had to depressurize the command module, the wedding ring wound up slowly floating out the open hatch during the spacewalk. It floated past Charlie Duke who was supervising the spacewalk, and it hit Mattingly's helmet and bounced back to Duke, who was able to catch it! One of the absolute craziest stories ever!
