Madden 27 Beta Final Review - Offense is much harder this year. Good defenders who can mix zone/man hybrid shells are going to excel. - Madden feels so much better without QB Playmaker and Conductor. - 4-man loop actually loops. - The run game is weird. Players feel like they’re running in mud, but offensive linemen will randomly pancake people. - QBs don’t make every deep throw with perfect accuracy and placement anymore, which I actually think is a good thing. - Quarters gets bombed pretty easily. - DBs don’t animate enough, which causes more aggressive catches. Overall, I’m excited. This feels like it could be a much more balanced game.
