@PFace102 @LyshaHolmes usb mics are good for plug and play. bear in mind lysha if you want to use a more advanced mic like we used to use back in the old days you have to start plugging mics into sound boards etc... depends on how advanced you want to go.

@LyshaHolmes @G_E_Design Don't get a USB mic - they don't sound good. XLR with an interface. Shure Beta 58A/Focusrite 2i2 is a good way to go.

@LyshaHolmes another good avenue to look at is gaming microphone that people use to chat to the people they are playing with/against. they are designed to pick up a voice clearly but block out any background noise.
