the bendu [speculation] - although not confirmed, it's very likely the bendu was alive during the time of the show, and way before, as an entity so closely connected to the force.

I've seen (perfectly legit) criticism of #DoctorWho 'Boom' asking why The 15th Doctor just ends the immediate conflict and doesn't also go on to dismantle Villengard's systems since they are the real villains of the story. Because he already did.
