If you could choose one person responsible for the decline in Western civilization, who would it be?

@itvnews @Nigel_Farage @Peston So he’s promising to do what the Labour government is already doing? What a fraud. If Labour got their coms right, they could easily put this jumped-up little shit in his place.

@PhilipDilley That's true. Provided you only talk to the most moronic, racist scum that the country would be better off without.

Nigel Farage is now the most popular man in Britain. It is almost impossible to find anyone who doesn't love him and he has the confidence of the nation.

@BearlyPolitics Their target audience is those who are so thick they don't care they're being lied to, and don't care about reality. All they want to be told is that their prejudices are right, and that there are simple answers - and never mind that those are more obvious lies.

@Hutch_Online This isn't censorship. This is the equivalent of a shop refusing to sell you alcohol if you can't (or won't) prove you're old enough.

Do you still stand by this statement Chris? If yes, can you explain how there is no political censorship when MPs tweets are being censored? If no, are you willing to apologise?

If it's a moral responsibility, then does that make people who support reform immoral? If so, there are a lot of immoral people in the UK, so my question is, what has made so many people immoral? I'm not a Reform supporter, I am just thinking that demonising as a first line of attack is just so utterly retro.

Keir Starmer has tonight told his MPs: “The Conservatives are not our principal opponent. Reform are our main rivals for power. We have a moral responsibility to make sure Farage never wins.” And PM takes off gloves: “We have to be clear that every opportunity he has had in this Parliament to back working people he’s voted against. Telling the workers at Jaguar Land Rover they deserve to go bust. A state-slashing, NHS-privatising, Putin apologist. Without a single patriotic bone in his body. We will take to fight to him. We will fight as Labour.”

@paullewismoney Most of the press is right wing, and refuses to report anything positive because they hate Labour being in power.

Only Musk knows exactly what he was going for with that... "gesture", but if Volodymyr Zelensky had done anything remotely similar Elon and his fanboys would be using it as proof of Ukrainian 'Nazis' till the end of days.

If Trump really wanted to take out the British government he’d offer any Brit under the age of 40 freedom to work in America. Millions would be booking flights by mid week. The government would collapse before Friday.

@dieworkwear I think it's the coat perched precariously on the shoulders. It confuses the shape, as it's got the arm shape on the outside, but we can see his arms in the centre. It also looks like it'd fall off if he moved - it feels very posed and fake.

@rcolvile Pensioners don't want to give up their exceptionally good deal. Younger people have been screwed over on everything else, so the idea that they're going to get screwed over in their old age as well isn't going to be popular with them.

The triple lock is a wasteful, unfair and outdated policy. So why the hysteria when politicians even gesture towards questioning it? Thread, with charts and data and stuff. (1/?)

My friend who’s a billionaire left the U.K recently for Monaco

Another great entrepreneur who paid 10s of millions a year in tax, gone. But it gets worse

He knows another British billionaire in Monaco, who’d left decades ago but wants to come back  It was all happening until the U.K. govt. decided to charge him a one off, £50 million re-entrance tax.  WTAF.

A billionaire, all set to come back to the U.K., bring his company, all his staff & his billions back into Britain, & they want to penalise him to bring all his money back

This billionaire was pretty much the richest U.K. billionaire when he left Suffice it to say, the billionaire stayed in Monaco, with his £100s of millions in tax revenue This is everything that is wrong with the U.K. & the economy & apparently billionaires’ money is not good in this country

@Independent_ie In a hospital, you want "gender neutral" toilets because they're now generally more like individual mini-bathrooms, accessible for wheelchairs & with their own wash basin.
