Academy of Central Florida (2–2) is quietly putting up some of the strongest numbers in the Power Conference. Martay Barnes (21.5 PPG) and Felipe Minzer (20.3 PPG) are a 1-2 punch that could shake things up if they stay hot. @theacademycfl | @ROCKOUTMARTAY | @GemLabMedia

We caught up with Nasir Anderson and MJ Madison before Prolific Prep’s win over Winston-Salem Christian to talk about their decision to come to Prolific, what they’re focused on this season, and how they’re enjoying competing on the Grind Session. Both spoke on development, team culture, and the opportunity to grow within a competitive environment where every game matters. MJ Madison finished the game with 13 points while Nasir Anderson followed with 14 points. The standout performance of the day belonged to Caleb Holt, who earned Player of the Game honors after posting 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 steals. @ProlificPrep | @canttstop3 | @MJMad1son | @GemLabMedia

Ft. Erie women returns to the floor after an undefeated run in Daytona They walk into Owensboro with a 3–1 start, averaging 70.5 points per game If Daytona showed anything, it’s that Ft. Erie doesn’t need a perfect night to control a game — they need pressure, pace, and poise. And they’ve got all three. Today the matchup is Hamilton Heights, a program that thrives on physicality and disrupts rhythm early. @feiawbb | @GemLabMedia

Gillion Academy enters the week with a new distinction: officially ranked among the Top 25 programs nationally. The recognition follows a strong showing at Hoopfest, highlighted by Marcis Ponder securing 30 rebounds and a double-double performance. Returning to Grind Session play, Gillion carries a 3–1 record, with their only loss coming to Prolific Prep. Through four Grind Session games, they have totaled 312 points and 147 rebounds, shooting 49.3 percent on two-point attempts, 32.7 percent from three, and 68.6 percent at the line. Their slate now shifts to a marquee test against No. 6 Southeastern Prep in Owensboro. With ranking credibility now attached to their name, Gillion steps into a matchup that will determine whether their weekend momentum translates into standing among the top tier. @GillionAcadTeam | @GemLabMedia

Prolific Prep’s Bruce Branch III leads a field loaded with future college and NBA talent. The five-star forward—formerly the No. 1 overall recruit in the 2027 class who reclassified to the senior class last week—is now one of the most coveted players in the country. Many analysts project him as a potential No. 1 pick in the 2027 NBA Draft. @DanaBecker | @GemLabMedia | @TalkBasket |

Toni Bryant, 6’9, PF, Zephyrhills Christian (Florida) The definition of a new age forward, Toni Bryant displayed the tantalizing skills that have made him a consensus five star prospect throughout Zephyrhills Christian’s two victories over the weekend. The versatile new-age forward showed the full bag with crazy soft touch finishes at the rim, was a constant lob threat, and showed his constantly improving offensive package facing the basket.  Bryant is essential in what many consider to be the top recruiting class in the nation early on in 2026 at Missouri, joining can’t miss point guard Jason Crowe Jr. and sharpshooter Aidan Chronister.  Via: @Ballislife
