Rainy day here In phuket so I took Lucas and @calpolkidSF for a great Thai boxing session at BangTao. Hit the pads for a good hour then came back to the pool for a drink.

If you haven’t already you NEED to watch “Hurts like Hell” on Netflix. This is a 4 part series about Muay Thai fighters and the effects gambling has on the sport, the last 2 episodes are a biopic of young ONE Championship fighter Nittikorn. When Nittikorn was younger fighting in the stadium scene he was involved in a fight where after knocking out his opponent, his opponent sadly passed away. It goes on to explain his ordination as a monk and the effects this had on this life. Whether you’re a Muay Thai fan, a fight fan, or someone just happening to read this post, this is A MUST WATCH. Can’t believe I only just got around to watching it tonight.
