Howdy Just wanted to write this post as the year comes to a close and inform you of current coffee offerings and some changes to expect next year. Right now in-store we have brand new roasts of everything, and some coffees their final roast. Mapache is going to have its last roast of the year soon (a week or two from now) as the stocks of our heirloom bourbon natural process ends. Expect it to be out of stock until April or so when Mapache 2026 harvest comes out. A14 Anaerobic has its final roast ever as those coffees, due to process, are never the same every year. We have a dozen bags in the store, roasted today, and that's it for that coffee. If you enjoyed Wildtype, organic typica, we have a few bags of that left in the store, or order the Guara pack online and you'll get one. Again, gone for good. Christmas blend has one more roast after this, and then it's gone. We're down to a handful of kilos of Kenia SL28 green that will be roasted over the next few weeks. Unfortunately our world still experiences fiat-driven inflation and our costs go up. Just got our annual 'we're raising your rates from Jan. 1st' email from DHL and coffee itself has gone up significantly since last year. We're taking the hit with DHL for now and expect to hold our current rates until new harvest kicks in starting in February to March, but once we start roasting and shipping that one expect a price adjustment to reflect those increased costs. Having said all that we expect new coffees from Las Nubes and all your favorite farms, as well as some new ones. We'll be introducing Yellow Tabi from Las Nubes, and perhaps get to taste in very limited quantities Laurina and Gesha Esmeralda from Las Nubes. Villa España will likely have a few surprise coffees as they always do crazy fermentations!
