Yesterday, Gr 9 students went on an end of year trip to the MB Legislature. While there they toured the amazing building, learned some of its history & importance, & had the pleasure of meeting Wolseley MLA Lisa Naylor, asking questions, & taking pictures!

They continued to be excellent ambassadors of Gordon Bell during their workshop with Greg Jasperses and throughout our entire trip. Our choir host commented on how polite our students are!

The event was held at Canadian Mennonite University, where the students developed their communication, problem solving, debating, and leadership skills.
The students took on the roles as delegates of Nepal and of Mexico.
On May 3rd and 4th, four Gordon Bell Students (Deivine, Amethyst, Erika, and Celeste) attended a two day Mock United Nations Assembly conference hosted by the Rotary Club of Winnipeg.
We have life! 2 different plant carts on the go. We decided to plant native wild flowers and will follow a long term plan to get them into our school green space and our school community. #gordonbell
