So are you saying that in 2026, unmarried Black men desire to be married (to any race of woman) than unmarried Black women?

@HOUSEHOLDSTRESS @sentientist Our people enjoy the lies told by academia and the feminist movement. Where women make choices and then blame men for their choices. But over here, we watch what they do, not only what they say…. here’s video proof of what they used to say before they realized how dumb it was.

@sentientist What’s never talked about is the gap between Hispanic men and women are similar to their black counterparts but they’re still more married. It’s common for women to outpace their men in education as the men prefer trade positions more than women. How bout BLK Wmn aren’t wives.

One reason high powered Black American women may have been celebrating their singlehood at 40 is lack of intraracial prospects, there are something like 1.6 educated Black women for every educated Black man. White women's prospects for marriage aren't nearly this bad.
Alice Evans@_alice_evans

This NYT article reports on wealthy, single women celebrating 40th birthdays as if they were destination weddings This a good eg of how women can collectively glorify new ideals, reversing single-stigma. Tho, I should add Black American women have been doing this for longer.

1. Both sets of grandparents could be a several hours drive away. 2. Grandparents could still be working full-time themselves, especially with inflation. 3. Grandparents don't want to have full-time responsibility to be daycare for their grandchildren in their retirement years.👎🏿
Nina@NinaPanickssery

Genuinely curious—why don’t more people use their own parents/kid’s grandparents for childcare as opposed to daycare/preschool/nannies (which seem more common)? Is it common for boomer grandparents to show disinterest in their grandchildren?
