Rescue efforts have saved over 230 individuals, including 72 children and adults who were airlifted from a spring break youth camp that was especially at risk. Over a year after the initial response, Convoy returned to LaPlace, Louisiana, in 2022 to host a recovery event. “People are still recovering — and those people still matter to us,” said Eric Gordon of Convoy of Hope. “Long after others have moved on, we have not moved on.” Convoy is committed to staying after the storm.
