@PaddyArsenal Rice is brilliant. But he's slow in the buildup, defensively slow to step up, rarely passes to Hincapie, is always telling other players to slow down or pass it back, and, though he has the belief of a leader, he doesn't have the seriousness, voice, or respect of Odegaard

Let’s put all the fucked up shit about this to the side for a second, you can just help the person on the floor if you want. There’s no manager that’s going to get in between me and a co-worker during a medical emergency. Kill the cop in your head that prevents you from acting.

A worker died at an Amazon warehouse in Oregon last week. For more than an hour, workers in the facility were instructed to continue working as the man lay dead. One worker wanted to help, but a manager told them to “Just turn around and not look. Let’s get back to work," according to The Western Edge. Link: thewesternedge.media/p/everyone-is-….

The rich will try absolutely anything except make football affordable. People have not fallen out of love with the game. They simply can’t afford to go. Make every ticket £10. For all ages. You don’t need these gimmicks and tricks.

Congratulations to the whiz kids running this operation to the tune of nearly 3/4 of a BILLION pounds lost last year. Real financial masters of the universe shit happening over there
Ben Jacobs@JacobsBen

Some headline numbers from Chelsea FC Holdings, BlueCo's and Holdco's full accounts for the year ending June 2025. CFC Holdings declared a pre-tax loss of £262.4m compared to a profit of £128.4m for the prior year. The shift is "primarily due to a profit on the sale of a subsidiary [hotel sale] of £198.7m recognised in the prior year". Revenue increased by £22.4m year-on-year, but cost of sales and administrative expenses rose by £117.4m. This is noted as a mitigating factor for the scale of the loss. It is primarily attributed to increased amortisation and impairment on player registrations, increased cost of sales including player wages, and costs related to regulatory matters, including the £26.5m settlement with UEFA. Chelsea's wage bill is up from £294.6m to £312.8m. Intangible assets have increased to £1.05bn from £1.04bn. This is due to £305.5m of player acquisitions including Liam Delap, Mike Penders, Dário Essugo and Mamadou Sarr. This was offset by total amortisation impairment losses of £230.3m and the disposal of player registrations with a combined net book value of £67.9m. CFC Holdings made a net profit on player trading of £57.9m but that was down from £152.5m in 2024. The main sales referenced are Conor Gallagher, Bashir Humphreys, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Ângelo. After the reporting date, six Chelsea men's football players were signed at an initial cost of £263.3m. 15 players were sold at a profit of £31.8m. BlueCo's net loss for the year, after taxation, was £619.0m compared to £402.6m in 2024. The declared pre-tax loss number is £630.1m compared to £430.3m in 2024 and is noted as driven by investment in CFC, CFCW and Strasbourg. For the 2024/25 tax year, BlueCo reported revenue of £536.5m. It is also confirmed that Alexis Ohanian's 776 Chaos Fund paid £18.5m for a 7.6% stake in Chelsea Women split via two share purchases. Based on that number, 776 valued Chelsea Women at £243.4 million. CFCW declared a loss for the year before taxation of £17.1m compared to £8.4m in the prior year. Turnover increased by £9.8m, offset by an £18.6m increase in operating costs. Strasbourg declared a loss for the year before taxation of £65.8m compared to £12.3m in the prior year. Turnover for the year at the Ligue 1 club decreased by £24.2m, down from £57.7m, largely due to reduced broadcasting revenue and the partial closure of the stadium for part of the reporting period. The overall HoldCo pre-tax loss is £700.8m (up from £473.2m in 2024) and is adjusted to £689.7m post-tax. It is also noted that there is £23.3m compared to £4.3m in 2024 of accruals and deferred income representing amounts that are due to settle ongoing legal matters. This includes £18.0m (€21.0m) under a settlement agreement relating to UEFA's Financial Sustainability Regulations, which concluded during the financial year.

@scottjwillis I think Zubi AND Declan shouldn't both start every game. Declan is too slow progressing the ball and won't pass to Hincapie, and when theyre both in, they're doing the same job. One or the other paired with Eze/Odegaard/Havertz is how I'd like to see it.

@scottjwillis Yes. We have enough to slip by the cheaters I think. Many forget it often takes time to reacclimate after injury. Ben White looked better last game than the few prior, imo, Kai is still coming back, etc. If Madueke or Martinelli were a little more technical we'd have won that

Cliffs Steel in Middletown was set to become the cleanest steel mill in the world, but Trump cut the 500 million dollar program, and now Cliffs Steel will be rolling coal for at least another 15 years poisoning both your air and groundwater. Trump/Vance hates you, Middletown!
Occupy Democrats@OccupyDemocrats

BREAKING: Trump announces plan to allow corporations to dump coal ash – which is TWICE as radioactive as *nuclear fuel* – into our drinking water! Yes, you read that right. Trump’s EPA is proposing to weaken rules for the safe disposal of super-mega-toxic ash produced by burning coal that contains hazardous heavy metals and contaminates groundwater. “The Trump administration proposed easing standards for monitoring and protecting groundwater near some coal ash sites, and rolling back rules that require the cleanup of entire coal properties rather than just the sites where ash was dumped. The revisions would also make it easier to reuse coal ash for other purposes,” reports the Associated Press. EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin said the proposal reflects the agency’s “commitment to restoring American energy dominance, strengthening cooperative federalism, and accommodating unique circumstances at certain (coal) facilities.” The rules were strengthened by – you guessed it – the Biden administration a few years ago, and now Trump is trying to gut them on behalf of his cronies in Big Coal. It is shocking to see just how eagerly the Trump administration is gutting all the regulations that keep us safe. “The Trump administration just took a sledgehammer to the health protections in place for toxic coal pollution,” said Lisa Evans, senior counsel at environmental group Earthjustice. “This is yet another handout to the coal power industry at the expense of our health, water, and wallets.” He is more than willing to make us drink poison and develop terrible cancers, all so his donors can save a little bit of money on cleaning up the toxic byproducts of their carbon pollution. There is nothing sacred to these nihilistic scumbags, no respect for anything but their own bottom lines. Trump is willing to burn everything to the ground just so he can be king of the ashes – with not a care in the world for the millions of people who will suffer and die because of his decisions.

Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene🇺🇸
Due to recent events, it’s become evident that we are not voting our way out of this. Americans across the country have been calling for a national tax revolt, having tired from their taxpayer dollars being spent to fund endless war, endless scams, and endless fraud like Somalian Learing Centers, while Americans are plunged into nearly $40 trillion in debt! I sat down with former criminal investigator for the IRS, now turned whistleblower, and you won’t believe what he told me about the income tax.

🚨 do you understand what's happening to America's scientists.. 9 people. NASA. Los Alamos. MIT. The Air Force. Dead or missing in 33 months. no autopsies. no cause of death. no answers. > an astrophysicist shot on his porch at 6am. > a nuclear physicist assassinated at home. > a JPL director vanished mid-hike. never found. > a 4-star general walked out with just a handgun. gone. they didn't work on random stuff. missiles. asteroid deflection. nuclear fusion. UFO programs. and they're dying quietly while everyone argues about tariffs.

supporters of age verification bills and laws in my country the USA should look at this. The government can decide on a whim what's age appropriate and what's not when it can be perfectly fine and education. Let's not forget the fact not everyone has an ID and age verification
