These many worlds (human, natural, supernatural, or imaginary) interact, overlap, and sometimes collide with each other in multiple, unexpected ways. They highlight our connectedness, the value of shared spaces, co-existence, and thriving together.

The exhibit theme is anchored on the concept of the worlds that we are part of, that exist around us—albeit hidden or tucked away beyond what is immediately obvious, as well as those that we imagine or hope to live in.

"My Day at AFCC" features an Artist Signing Board where artists from around the world can draw, showcasing their vision and style, and depicting their experience at the festival. It’s inspired by Wimmelbooks, which are very detailed and depict everyday life. 📷 Arli Pagaduan

The event also launched the Phil-SG co-translation project and marked the handover to Korea as the next Country of Focus. Notable attendees included Singapore Book Council's Claire Chiang, William Phuan, and Eric Chua, as well as NBDB's Dante Ang II and Charisse Aquino-Tugade.

On Day 3 of AFCC 2024, the Philippine delegation showcased Filipino culture at the AFCC Country of Focus Night. Highlights included the tagayan ritual, live storytelling, and the abre gana rice ritual. #nbdb #AFCC2024
