Not every nation hosts an annual gathering in its capital to celebrate that.
Stuff like this isn’t universal, and it’s not even common.
As an American, I don’t personally care about Greece’s history, or any other country’s for that matter, except my own.
So I don’t really see the need for events like this. No malice, just my viewpoint.
