@HiddenScarsNet Well, LA was an interesting place in those days and the cops were people I wanted nothing to do with. That said, I never went to jail and have some really good stories to tell, including how I was taken in for stealing my own car.😎

@dtf1947 Understandable. I would argue that the story is still relevant because wrongful behavior still happens to this day. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if it's worse now than it was then, although I'm not sure about the Crime/Police State in Los Angeles specifically.

@HiddenScarsNet Since it took place nearly five decades ago, I doubt it's worth mentioning. Most likely, the officer involved isn't even alive any more much less still a cop. But for the record, Los Angeles, intersection of Santa Monica and San Vicente Blvds

@Anagram2112 That sounds like a very intense experience! I too have come close to losing my life on more than one occasion, but likely for a totally different reason altogether.
