Today, our @MothersUnion watched a sideshow on last year's visit to Uganda and the work done to help the schools of the Pearl of Africa Child Care Molly and Paul Foundation. They kindly held a collection at the end and raised a total donation of £105.32.

Congratulations to our new Rose King and Queen announced this morning - Samuel and Lucy. We look forward to your reign.

Mothering Sunday, our MU banner was processed. Flowers were laid on the Children's Grave, and all struggling were prayed for. Thank you to the MU for providing the beautiful flowers for everyone. We had a story about a monkey who lost his mum and everyone was gifted a cup of tea.

In our service this morning, we thought about God asking Abram to leave everything familiar and go somewhere new. The one thing Abram needed more than anything else was trust. He followed God without knowing the destination. We played a game of trust to think about this.

The Lent course will be running for 5 weeks on Mondays, 6.45pm, St Paul’s Church. 23 Feb. - 23 Mar. This course takes key moments in the book of Acts to help us know Jesus, while also celebrating our Diocesan centenary focus, ‘All for Jesus’.
