Basketball has changed so much. In some ways, this shows more of a team sport and the development of complex plays. In other ways, this reveals how much slower, less aggressive, and less athletic the game was. Boomers and millennials are going to hate to hear this, but the reality is the 2026 OKC and Spurs would dominate both these teams.

The 49ers are listed as one of the most likely teams to miss the playoffs this coming season Seems like an odd prediction for a team getting Fred Warner, Nick Bosa and Mykel Williams back. Added Mike Evans and Dre Greenlaw in FA. As well as trading for Osa Odighizuwa I see a 12+ win season

Kyle Shanahan pretty much confirmed why the 49ers draft process is flawed and broken. On the Rich Eisen Show, he explained that he only has time to watch highlight packages of draft prospects for two months before the draft. That’s not abnormal for a head coach. Their job is to coach the team and the grind is non-stop from late July through January and February. But when Shanahan has as much personnel say as he does, and he’s the one making the picks, that’s when it becomes a problem because the 49ers aren’t leaning on the GM and scouting department who are scouting these prospects year-round. This is a big reason why the 49ers have missed so often in the draft and from 2020-23, the Niners drafted 27 players total, but only four got multi-year second contracts with the team. #49ers

Stribling was one of the hottest names on the block this past month, going from a Day 3 guy all the way to a certain top-50, particularly after he made visits. Easy to see what the Niners like in him: Elite speed - size, tackle breaker, YAC machine, can play inside or out.

Alter Egos are one of the best inserts Topps has cooked up in a long time. The MLB versions are ridiculous (in the best way possible). So can someone explain to me how NBA and NFL Chrome are both just like "Nah...we good." ? With the number of case hits being packed into these products, it’s unlike Topps to miss such an obvious opportunity.
