Just Imagine a woman with bilateral cuts on both sides after childbirth. She lay under the needle for over 40 minutes, getting stitched up because both sides had to be repaired. I was there the entire time. Blood everywhere. Pain everywhere. Tears everywhere. She held my hands so tight from the pain that I completely lost feeling in my fingers. And then some f$$lish man will still open his mouth to ask: “What do women even bring to the table?” OR say nonsense like: “It’s not manly for a man to help his wife with chores meant for women.” After watching a woman tear her body open to bring life; after seeing pain you can’t Google, read, or imagine….any man who still thinks love, care, and partnership reduce his masculinity is a certified Ode! If this experience doesn’t humble you as a man, NOTHING EVER WILL (not even the death of a loved one).
