I only knew about @InsightCCED’s important, groundbreaking work under @AnnePriceICCED and had no idea about these internal challenges. I hope her story leads to serious reflection & action from nonprofit boards about equitable pay and practices, especially supporting Black women.

The root cause of this railroad worker crisis is the disgraceful fact that we have no uniform PAID LEAVE policy in the U.S that protects ALL workers. Forcing this agreement doesn't change that. We are so good at incorrectly diagnosing problems and spinning in our wheels.
