I issued an Executive Order prohibiting vaccine mandates by ANY entity in Texas. I also added the issue to the Special Session agenda. The COVID-19 vaccine is safe, effective, & our best defense against the virus, but should always remain voluntary & never forced.

There are fiery emotions on both sides of the jab conversation these days. We must never dehumanize, demonize or discriminate against anyone on either side. We all (should) have the right to make our own medical choices without threats to liberty. We are NOT each other's enemy.

As we look at our culture and see how it's going downhill, we wonder how we can ever see things change. The answer isn't boycotts or protests. The answer isn't even political. Rather, the answer is spiritual. We need to pray for our country. And we need to proclaim the gospel.
