I won my first ever #Riftbound Skirmish today! Honestly went to this skirmish hoping to get top 8 nothing else (100% did not think i had what it took to win it all) but surprise surprise we secured the DUB! B4 the skirmish started I bought 2 origins packs & pulled a sig also 🤯

Is playing in a Summoner Skirmish low EV? You spend like 5-8 hours at an event to secure a bye, or you could just wake up an hour early and play round 1? I ended up skipping skirmishes these past two RQs and playing round 1 and it’s fine?

Having someone who goes out of their way to support you can really put in perspective how much you’re loved and cared for. Lucky to have a best friend like that.

@blademitsurugi Yes please, our group was testing hook leblanc extensively and concluded the deck wasn't strong enough. Would love to see how you pilot it differently

Would people be interested in like a video of explaining LB Hook and some of the decision making process? I don’t think a guide is necessary, but I do think explaining certain decisions may be helpful? Definitely a hard deck to pilot but her low conversion rate makes me a lil sad

@gg_hazmatt Big fan of repulse in the main as a one of, it's definitely a cheap blow out card versus harness dragon, defiant dance, star cross, and vi etc.. Good stuff!

@JDWRiftbound What do you think of my list? I've been working on it since pre release

@gg_hazmatt I'm not a big fan of confront because of purple vex. Fallen star definitely kills leblanc and other high value units but I think you need to pick between that or challenge, otherwise too redundant. Jhin tech is spicy and something I've considered before.

@Kagrawaling @riftdecks Nidalee is 100% needed, she's versatile as a surprise attacker or defender. She's basically punch first copies 4-6 at reaction speed. Plus, your opponent has to decide whether rengar trophy hunter lives or nidalee if they're in the same combat (both outcomes are fine for you)

@JDWRiftbound @riftdecks How do you feel about nidalee I am not a believer in the card but you’re not running kinkou

@7Jorgeee Bryn turns off glasc death knell and baited hook so look for windows to use thrill of the hunt to replay Bryn. You can also use brynhir thrill in response to temporary on ur opp to time walk them. Gameplan is to hold as much as you while respecting Vi to deny LB ability

@JDWRiftbound Eyyy congrats! how do you deal with leblanc players? I play similar list to this one but i dont know how to deal with this matchup properly

@notoriousrafs This is also why i ended up trimming down to 1 red pyke as strong as the card is. He's a very weak defender should they attack with purple vex and I really can't make use of his play ability if purple vex is on the battlefield

@JDWRiftbound How is the matchup against decks that runs purple Vex?

@notoriousrafs the match up felt fine once I started running noxus hopefuls since he can cleanly trade 1 for 1 w/ purple vex. Hopefuls can even favorably trade versus Vex thanks to the rengar legend ability. You just can't fall behind because purple vex is lights out when they hold to win
