When your fifth graders voluntarily come to the library at recess to work on the enrichment crafts they started earlier - and bring friends - and more friends - and teach and help each other - it feels like the library you always wanted!

Our TAG Talent Development students had their ISP Showcase last night. They are so wise with their reflections and advice to others doing an independent study project for the first time . . .

"Don't do it the night before! Take time to make your project really great." "Choose one part that you're already good at so at least something about your project is familiar."

"Don't rush it, but don't go too slowly." "Make it as interactive as you can, and be friendly." "Use your time wisely and be on time for the showcase."

"Use your time wisely. It isn't a very pleasant experience to run out of time." "Try to make your product unique and something other people would not think of."

Love their level of focus! I enthusiastically recommend them if you ever need someone to locate a lowercase d, h, or n!

Family Literacy Night is happening this evening for our PK, K, 1st, and 2nd grade families and FAC and FCC! Come from 4:30 - 5:45 for fun reading activities, door prizes, and pizza!
