🚨MASSIVE EXPLOIT IN CARDANO PROJECT DRAINS OVER $20 MILLION Cardano ecosystem project SecondFi has suffered a major exploit after a flaw in its wallet generation software allowed attackers to drain user funds. Security firm SlowMist says the total damage may exceed $20 MILLION, involving more than 129M $ADA and other tokens. Users have been urged to immediately migrate funds to a new wallet.

Surely they can't be oblivious to the fact that securing 630GB of raw employee passports and trade secrets on a centralized server is really a massive ransom waiting to happen. Enterprises shouldn't be hoarding raw identity documents in the first place. When you verify employees and partners with zero-knowledge cryptography, there are no physical passport scans left on the server for hackers to leak. 🟧⬛

Tata Electronics, which builds about a third of Apple's iPhones in India, has confirmed a cyberattack after the extortion group World Leaks posted what it claims are confidential Apple and Tesla files — more than 204,000 documents totalling 630+ GB. We reviewed the leak. The files carry Apple's confidential and proprietary footers and Tesla trade-secret markings, and include iPhone circuit board inspection specs, factory data, and employee passport scans. There are tons of e-mails as well, plus files belonging to other Tata Electronics customers. Tata says operations are unaffected and has received a ransom demand.
