@asentance @Telegraph Agree. Tax is about getting the maximum feathers from the turkey with a minimum of hissing. This is the opposite. We desperately need proper taxes on extreme wealth to re-balance the tax system. This is posturing and counter productive to real change. @PatMillsUK

I don’t normally agree with @Telegraph . But Labour policy on taxing private education is bonkers. It will raise little money (about £1.5bn) for maximum disruption to the education system. It is vindictive class war politics.
