Starting the day with a Chair’s welcome from Juliette Murray and opening remarks from Katie Cuthbertson.
Today’s session is all about turning strategy into action - working together to deliver sustainable improvement in surgical services across Scotland.

Health Boards are sharing practical insights on how to apply the Framework for Perioperative Services in their local areas - what’s working, what’s needed, and what comes next.

In our next session, Health Boards shared their perioperative priorities - planning actions for the next 6 weeks, 6 months, and 18 months, plus where national support is needed.
Each Board reflected on how these align with the self-assessment and local needs.
