Delighted our paper describing an agnostic approach to identify Mtb-specific protective antibodies is finally out! We characterize an LpqH-specific mAb that was identified as IgG1 and IgA1 in the human donor. nature.com/articles/s4154… 1/2

Some isotypes of the same mAb are more protective than others -- IgA and IgG2 performed better in a murine challenge model. With colleagues @RBouzeyen , Hao Li, Shivankari and Paul MacAry.

After what seemed an endless set of online and in-person trainings, great to see Dr. Nyarie Sithole in a lab coat doing his first set of experiments! Can't wait to share in what you discover with the rest of the lab!
