The centerpiece of the Hanukkah celebration is the menorah, a candelabra that holds nine candles. Eight candles symbolize the number of days that the Temple lantern blazed; the ninth, the shamash, is a helper candle used to light the others. This one looks good enough to eat! 🕎

Tonight marks the first night of Hanukkah. Dreidel is traditional Hanukkah game that we play. Each side of the dreidel bears a Hebrew letter which represent the Hebrew phrase "nes gadol hayah sham", a great miracle happened there. Happy Hanukkah!
