The removal of a regime and a supreme ‘leader’ that tortured, jailed and murdered its own innocent people is good news and should be celebrated with those who will experience their rightful freedom. He/they were not misunderstood leader/s. They murdered protesters, tortured dissidents, silenced women and exported violence, even funded terrorism elsewhere while their own citizens lived in further fear. Anyone who still sympathises with that kind of tyranny needs to be honest about what they are defending… in South Africa the irony is that many who sympathise with such ruthless murderers like Ayatollah Khamenei, call themselves fighters for freedom. Strength deters aggression. Weakness invites it.
