Best thing about dept’s newish double authentication. When you travel OS in your holidays & forget to change the number to your personal phone, it is really difficult to access your work emails. Forced turning off of notifications for those who find it difficult.

@dounya_fattouh For science we did 3 tasks per semester. 1 KU, 1 skill, 1 literacy. Sometimes 2 were combined eg independent research project = skill + literacy

NSW DoE Secondary colleagues- when planning formal assessment schedules for stage 4 and 5 for the year, how many would you plan? Interested as normally I have seen 3-4. Have now also seen 8.

@denise_lombardo ❤️Student from the most difficult & personally demoralising class I ever taught (also yr 9 class) told the principal she would only come back to yr 10 if I was her teacher because I was the only one who had never given up on them no matter how awful they were. I still tear up.

Not one to brag in general. But I’ve had a really difficult year 9 class this year. Feedback today has lifted my heart a bit after a tough year. And the one who tried my patience the most and had greatest needs asked if I could teach him in Year 10 because I’m ‘real good’! 😊❤️
