@ArizonaDOT Why in the world are you letting people go east on Sonoran Desert Drive? This is why they are clogging up the North Valley city streets for residents! You have closed this off before..do it again! 8 minute trip has already taken 30 minutes and we still aren’t home!

@JenMAZ We apologize for the inconvenience. ADOT is taking many steps to encourage drivers to stay on the I-17 detour, but this has remained a challenge as drivers follow their travel apps that direct them to the fastest route, including North Valley Parkway....

@ArizonaDOT Ummm…there are 2 lanes going SOUTH, not North. You are making it even easier for more interstate traffic to come in to the neighborhood.

@ArizonaDOT you need to get someone out on North Valley Parkway as many of the barricades used to create another north lane are down and making travel dangerous you can’t tell where the lanes are!

@ArizonaDOT Since 6:30 am this morning we have been asking for you to stop the traffic to North Valley Parkway and Norterra, but you haven’t. Just had an ambulance coming at me the wrong way because it’s the o my way through your traffic jam!

@ArizonaDOT It would be nice if you would restrict the Happy Valley exit to the east to avoid the HUGE influx of I-17 traffic on to Norterra and North Valley Parkway. There is 10x the traffic as usual and it is only 6:30 am! Trucks were rambling through all night long 😤
