I’m voting yes.

Queenslanders have told me just how much of a help the $175 rebate was that we delivered off power bills last year. I can confirm that this year's rebate will be even bigger. It's only possible because we've kept Queensland's energy assets in Queensland hands.

It’s their first day on the tools building prefabricated homes for frontline workers and vulnerable Queenslanders.

Back at Stafford City Shopping Centre with Centre Manager, Sam, and Marketing Manager, Erin, to support the Centre's efforts in backing the fantastic charity Share the Dignity, which provides important and practical support for vulnerable women with free period products.

It was great to be back in person at the newly renovated hall with the Samaritans this morning. The upgrades look fantastic and it’s always a joy to spend quality time with the wonderful Samaritans.

This week I handed over 42 two-bedroom social homes in Windsor which will soon house around 80 tenants.

This afternoon I was back at The Prince Charles Hospital with my colleague Bart Mellish MP. 🏥 We proudly welcomed 33 new intern doctors to TPCH - collectively they’ll care for thousands of people from right across our community. 👩‍⚕️ @YvetteDAth

It’s great to welcome so many new residents to our beautiful community. 🏡 As this time of year is one of the busiest for people moving house, this afternoon I’m signing a huge stack of new elector letters. 🖊

We’ve started building our 5,000th social home for Queenslanders - progress made, more to come. There’s nothing more important than having a roof over your head, that’s why our government made a record $3.9 billion investment into social and affordable housing across Queensland.

Today I stopped in to congratulate and thank Leigh as she retires after 24 years at Wilston State School. 🙏 Often working diligently behind the scenes, Leigh helps to organise teachers, students and parents, and has worked closely with me and my office since I was elected.
