Vaping has become one of the major health and well-being issues that our young people are dealing with. Tomorrow we will bring this issue to the Assembly floor.

A young boy has suffered serious facial injuries as a result of a firework being thrown from Páirc Nua Chollann. My thoughts are with the injured boy & I will continue to work with the community safety team, council & PSNI to put an end to this reckless & dangerous behaviour.

The Assembly has today backed a Sinn Féin motion supporting 16 and 17 year-olds having the right to vote. Young people deserve the chance to have their say in building a positive & progressive future. The British government should now move to legislate for this.
