@KansasBlind Harding said some challenges the school is seeing are: -Better inform parents of skills & services/programs. -Vision teacher shortages. -Indirect/consult services vs. direct services. -Better coordination for statewide vision services. -Accessibility of state assessments.

.@JonCHarding, superintendent of @KansasBlind, is providing updates to the State Board. The Kansas State School for the Blind (KSSB) serves more than 800 children and youth and has 50 students enrolled on campus. KSSB also provides services to 100 school districts.

Huge thank you to Jacob McGowan @Musselman_Hall for shepherding @KansasBlind track renewal project from start to finish. Students will begin using this next week. One of the prettiest properties in all of @ksgovernment just got better.
