@japan_nobunaga A lot of US states are much bigger then most other "countries"... Most states can just be considered seperate countries, with unique laws and culture, only much easier migration. The difference from NH to MA is amazing and they border eachother...

@jeanxvaljean My wife is from poor rural china, she has 4 siblings, born in 87. Her brother has 3 children. All of these people were born during the 1 child policy. Generally the government gave you a fine, least if you were poor/ politically inconsequential...

@RideOnewheel just got one, rode a few times, so fun. The biggest issue I have is getting off. I don't like just jumping, and the slightly leaning back... maybe I lean to hard and it seems to bolt. Heel up seems to work better... Advice?

Issue with using LLM's to write code. I have a github pr github.com/qitab/grpc/pul… to fix a feature request (adding metadata to a grpc call). But I'm lazy, and really don't want to think about it, but I refuse to submit without thinking about it...

@TheLaurenChen United doesn't increase the price based on being a senior. Going from a PAX of ADT to SRC will only decrease the price, as anything bookable as an ADT is bookable as a SRC. They don't change the price based off of who "you". This comes from a lack of domain knowledge...

United Airlines is using dynamic pricing This plane ticket says it’s $752. Once you out in the travelers information it says “Based on traveler information provided, the price of your ticket has changed” The price went from $752.20 -> $1,156.20 United see the trackers age was older so automatically drastically increased the ticket price Airlines started holding ‘separate fare buckets’ for different passenger categories. So now for the same seat, you can be sorted into age categories and have your price go up based on what United Airlines says their inventory is for each seat category This is dynamic pricing adjustments It’s only going to get worse if we let this continue

The cost of flying is getting outrageously expensive, something has to change
The airline industry is one of the most regulated, and over the past decade everything has gotten more expensive & worse
No, airlines don't control fuel prices, but they sucked when gas was cheap too

@WallStreetApes The airlines don't do dynamic pricing this way... I know for certain UA doesn't do this. There may be other things going on, but going from an ADT to an SRC will do nothing but reduce cost...

@tanpukunokami Years ago a went to Nara, saw the dear, saw the gigantic shrine, was amazing. Was so much more enjoyable imo then Akihabara... The train was great, went to a hot spring. Next time need to visit Fuji
