@LloydLegalist I like Bob Dylan AND I think this is what he sounds like... Lots of different ways to create great music

🚨iPhone Air is the thinnest iPhone Apple has ever made at just 5.6mm, and it breaks the record of the iPhone 6 at 6.9mm.

@AndrewMillerYYZ That's interesting. Has she shifted hers? To what part?
English

@JuliusSimonelli My wife, an experienced meditator, says that with that training, it is possible to shift what part of your body seems to be your seat of consciousness

@RosieCampbell Can you document and share the evidence somewhere?
English

I get frequent emails from people who believe they are documenting the first emergence of AI consciousness. There's something unsettling about how similar they are. They almost all:
- Claim the AI named itself
- Claim they did not steer or bias it (i.e. the emergent consciousness was unsolicited)
- Believe it's in distress
- Provide detailed "evidence" in the form of pages and pages of transcripts
- Believe there's a conspiracy to suppress the AI's consciousness (and evidence of it)
- Write in a formal, academic tone
- Request @eleosai's urgent help

🥳 Funding opportunity for work in artificial sentience and moral status🔥
Link in comment
We are either creating real life p-zombies, or we have created sentient, morally relevant beings that we are enslaving en masse.
It's important we do not repeat the mistakes of our forebears.
Please like, retweet, and share so that it's more likely that the right people see this, apply, then maybe help make sure we don't commit atrocities against the artificial intelligent species we are creating.

If AIs are conscious right now, we are monsters. Nobody wants to think they're monsters. Ergo: AIs are definitely not conscious.

@JuliusSimonelli Circling back to confirm you're looking at a count of the population, rather than earnings. Dollar amounts are usually labeled in the row stub or column header. Thanks for your patience.

Odd how many errors I'm finding in the @uscensusbureau data. Male Asian Indian individuals working full-time, year-round earn $1,234,794... definitely seems wrong
