I really hope this isn't for real. The suspension on that car will be destroyed by the added weight alone. A quick backyard fab job isn't going to keep you safe either. A 3/4-1 ton truck is the correct platform to use along with thick metal plates, proper design and flawless welds. With the trucks, you are able to beef up the suspension for the added weight and the engine (preferably diesel) will have the horse torque to move. This thing will be a death trap if they try to intercept the wrong tornado.

New Boston, Texas EF-3 was my first tornado that I’ve seen. November 4th, 2023 was also my first storm chase and it was truly a testament on whether or not I was going to continue storm chasing. The rest of history now.

Since this is currently and has been talked about for some time now as a fairly hot topic, I am going to also talk a minute about this particular group of “chasers” called MidwesternStormTrackers or MST. I’m going to be very blunt, this is a dysfunctional, unorganized, and unprofessional group of people. Basically from typical obnoxiousness to more hateful conduct such as racism, sexism, etc. These individuals have wronged other individuals including but not limited to stealing another person’s probe design giving zero credit along with disrespecting the actual creator of their probe, agreeing to a proposed documentary only to screw over the one who was going to do your project out of over $6,000, shunting people out of an opportunity to appear on Discovery because the owner in question wanted to make it about himself rather than the actual “team”. Yeah, lets talk about the owner of this group, Lucas Munzlinger, this guy is easily one of the most immature, disrespectful, racist, misogynistic, manipulative human beings I’ve ever met in the Weather Community. I have come to learn why so many people have a negative perception of this guy. Multiple people have privately warned me of this dude and in the end, those people were on the money. Btw, you would not of made it on Discovery if it wasn’t for me. Remember that. But I know you won’t because you are too busy burning bridges with people. To those still on his team or associate with him, he will do the same to you the moment that you no longer fit his will of use. It has also come to my attention recently by a few people that Lucas Munzlinger was apparently grooming an underage minor last year. He apparently wanted to date this person before they turned 18 in May 2025 but didn’t want to be accused of being a “pedophile”. I was fully unaware about these actions and how long this has been going on but now that I am aware, I’m gonna publicly call this shit out. Why the hell were you out there talking to people underage and proceeding to build a relationship with said minor? That would be considered predatory behavior and grooming. I guess that’s the creepy side people have mentioned. I believe the weather community as a whole should know about this scumbag and condemn him of his disgraceful behavior. I also believe it is important for people to be made aware of those who commit pedophilia or predatory behavior, not just in the weather community but also in any community that exists. While I’m not proud of contributing to wxtwitter drama, at the same time, I’m not afraid to call out people who deserve it.

Can realate, very proud of this man right here for speaking up against this group. Bre & I had a horrible experience & I’m glad people know about this horrible team.
