The mother of slain DPD Officer Darron Burks, is suing the alleged suspect's parents and the pawnshop that the gun was purchased in the shooting death of her son. Corey Cobb-Bay approached Officer Burks while he was sitting in his patrol car and shot him. Officer Burks mother thinks Cobb-Bay's parents ignored increasing dangerous behavior from their son that eventually led to the execution of a upstanding DPD officer.

Californian man federally charged after punching a DPD officer in the face multiple times at Dallas Love Field, fracturing the officer’s eye. Our officers are under attack and understaffed.

Last month a group of burglars crashed a pickup truck into the World of Smoke & Vape shop on the 5900 block of Greenville Avenue in order to rob the store. The suspects fled the scene in a separate vehicle after stealing many products. No arrests have been made in this case yet.

DPD Officer Toriana Edwards was arrested recently after she allegedly spat in the face of another police officer. Officer were called on an intixociated Edwards for a reported verbal disturbance that then led to a confrotation. She has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation.

ICE arrested three men in Dallas during a targeted operation recently. The illegals include a Tren de Aragua gang member, MS-13 gang member, and an illegal who is involved in a vehicle theft ring in Dallas. Illegal gang members have no business being here in Dallas.

Woman taken into custody for fatal hit-and-run on E. Northwest Highway, drove to a bank then parked and fled the scene. Dallas roads are a dangerous place.

38-year-old Levett Gilliam has been identified as the victim of the fatal shooting last week on the 4600 block of St. Francis Avenue. Authorities say Gilliam was found with gunshot wounds and later died at a local hospital from his injuries. May his unknown killer be brought to justice.

Dallas Police has received a $51.5 million grant from FEMA for security surrounding the upcoming FIFA World Cup. $22 million of that will go to support personnel costs, salaries, and overtime for officers. More police funding is fantastic but Dallas residents always deserve this level of safety with police support even when there isn't a soccer game in town.

Nonprofit Empower, overseeing Dallas foster children, now requires third-party oversight after two infants died and others injured. Our most vulnerable kids deserve real protection.

The DPD announced the recent arrest of 61 wanted fugitives in a joint effort with U.S. Marshals. This is apart of Operation Clean Sweep that was launched in February to catch suspects and would be repeat offenders. Dallas is better off with these thugs off the streets!

Sergio Alonso Rodriguez-Noyola was arrested by ICE. He is a criminal illegal alien from Mexico who has been convicted of Intoxicated Manslaughter and Accident Involving Death. Dallas drivers are unsafe sharing the roads with criminal illegals.
