As we allow God's story to become ours, things that happen will take on a new meaning. Our wants will change, and we can experience peace even in difficulties. Problems will no longer be interruptions to our plans, but can be seen as indications of God's plan.

We all realize that God is definitely worthy of our praise. But, we cannot discover His will for our lives or find that peace during our trials if we are not spending time with Him. We must be devoted daily to His word and our prayers.!!

Oh the sweet taste of victory. The sad part- hardly do we taste victory before it is gone. The victory experienced with Christ though is not fleeting. It is not an event or an occasion- it is a lifestyle. It is not based on how well we do - but on God's forgiveness.

God - you are great and are to be highly praised. You are gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and great in your faithful love. We can walk with confidence because you are always with us - all the way to the end. May we live unashamed of our walk with you.

It is not so much that we are living for Jesus. It is more that Jesus is living through us. He can shine His power through us so when things get accomplished, people will not look to us; they will look to Him and believe.

Our heart will feel a final pulse one day.Our lungs will empty a final breath. Death seems like such a dead end.Until we read, believe, and accept Jesus’ resurrection storyJesus said…”I am the resurrection and the life.The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.”

We celebrate Christ not only today but each and every day. May our hearts hold on to His words. May we pay attention and listen "closely". May we guard our hearts, and fix our eyes straight ahead. And may we not compromise by taking detours to the right and left.

God's Grace is like the ocean waves. It comes to us not occasionally but constantly- wave after wave. We have barely regained our balance from the first one, and then, bam, here comes another. Grace after Grace because He loves us.

But there is no evidence that can condemn us like that which comes from our own heart. We can learn a lot about ourselves when we just listen to ourselves. We must trust and allow God to continue on His mission to conform us to His image.

We want to have a good day. We better have a strong attitude - "Get behind Me, Satan". (Matthew 16:23)

Of all the things we must earn in life, God's unending affection is not one of them. Jesus does not say, "Come to me, all you who are perfect and sinless." No--it's "Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." We can stretch out in the hammock of grace

Life doesn't have to be that difficult. Draw near to God and He will draw near to us (James 4:8). We just have to make good choices.

Happiness is only found when things in life are going good. True joy is found in our relationship with Christ. Things on this earth can steal our happiness. Nothing can take our Jesus.

What a great feeling knowing that even though we sometimes don’t have a great hold on to God - He always has a great hold on us!!!!!

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. (Romans 1:16)

God - today what can I do so I can pay you back for all you have done for me?

We as Christians are a living testimony for Jesus. Do we talk the talk and walk the walk at the same time.

Do we wear the coat of religion, but we don't know the heart of Christ? We know about Jesus, but we have no relationship with Jesus.

God Can!!! --"Don't let your heart be troubled. Believe in God"(John 14:1).

Children tell their trusting adults to hold them or hold their hand when frightening things are seen or heard.Our God is that trusting God holding us or holding our hand. He is here.He is the commander with His heavenly host.We just have to call out to Him like a child afraid.
