Learned only recently that I erred in my assumption $HR.UN had lowish insider ownership. Latest presentation shows 9% ownership (~$247 million - a lot) which is legacy units held by founding families but not reported on SEDI or info circular. Changed my perception of the process

$HR.UN CEO & CFO will make out like bandits if the REIT is sold under 'change of control.' Tom Hofstedter is 72-years old and holds ~$42 million worth of units. Aside from CEO, no trustee is over their head in ownership w/ mostly all under $1m worth.

@samswoora Besides cheap power and cooling, data centres need multiple fibre optic connections from different carriers, and to be close to population centres to reduce network latency (data centres are clustered in the Midwest to be central for North American traffic)

Canadian tourist Mitchell Grant Fairbarn from Ontario was arrested in Las Vegas after police say he broke into the Flamingo Hotel and Casino wildlife habitat, chased flamingos and carried one back to his hotel room. Fairbarn now faces four four counts of felony animal abuse after investigators say the bird was injured when he tried to “pop” its wing back into place.
